A Little Autumn Magic: Parent & Child Lantern Workshop 🍂🎃
Join us for 90 minutes of Autumn creativity, connection and a little Halloween magic! This special parent-and-child workshop is the perfect opportunity to slow down, spend some lovely quality time together and create something wonderfully spooky.
Together, you’ll get creative making two beautiful Autumn inspired lanterns, with a spooky Halloween twist! Think cosy autumn evenings, flickering lights and a little ghostly magic to brighten up your Halloween celebrations. 👻
With all materials provided and plenty of guidance along the way, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy the experience together and bring your lanterns to life.
These aren’t just decorations for one night, they are special handmade treasures you can bring out every autumn, ready to add a little seasonal magic year after year.
More than just a craft activity, this is a chance to make memories, share some giggles, get creative and enjoy the fun of making something together.
There’ll be plenty of lovely moments to capture along the way, too!

Spend six cosy evenings getting ready for Christmas as the winter nights begin to draw in and discover the simple pleasure of making your own festive decorations and cards.
This friendly course is perfect for beginners, inspired by the warmth and simplicity of Nordic folk art, over the six weeks you’ll explore lino printing, papercutting and hand building with air dry modelling clay, creating three beautiful handmade Christmas treasures along the way.
We’ll begin with lino printing, designing and carving your own festive designs before printing a unique set of Christmas cards. You’ll have plenty of time to experiment with ideas and colour, and your handmade cards will be ready well in time for the Christmas post!
Next, you’ll create a beautiful Nordic inspired Christmas scene using the art of papercutting, which you’ll frame ready to bring a little festive magic to your home.
Finally, you’ll hand build a little Nordic Christmas house from air dry modelling clay, creating a miniature scene that comes to life with the warm glow of a tealight on a dark winter evening.
This course is designed as a chance to slow down, enjoy the cosy anticipation of Christmas and take pleasure in making something with your own hands.

This relaxed and accessible course is an introduction to the world of lino printing, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to try something new.
Over the six-week course, you’ll learn a variety of lino printing techniques, including how to develop and transfer your design, create texture, carve your lino block and print by hand. As your confidence grows, you’ll explore ways to create striking multi-coloured prints, including the multi-block technique, and discover the beautiful art of chine collée – a traditional 19th-century printmaking technique that uses delicate papers to add colour, texture and depth to your work.
Working from your own ideas, sketches or favourite photographs, you’ll be encouraged to develop original artwork and explore the possibilities of lino as a creative medium. With Christmas approaching, there will also be the opportunity to design and print your own set of Christmas cards, choosing between a simple single-colour print or experimenting with the multi-block technique to create a more colourful design. With plenty of time to print your cards, they’ll be ready to send in time for the Christmas post!
With guidance and encouragement throughout, you’ll develop your skills at your own pace in a relaxed and supportive environment, with plenty of opportunity to experiment and discover what you enjoy about lino printing.
By the end of the course, you’ll have produced a collection of beautiful hand-printed artworks to take home, your own set of handmade Christmas cards, and your carved lino blocks, which you can keep and use to create as many prints as you like long after the course has finished!

Discover the exciting world of printmaking in this hands-on course, perfect for beginners and anyone curious to explore a range of creative printmaking techniques.
Over the course, you'll be introduced to a variety of relief and intaglio processes, including monoprint, lino printing, drypoint etching and botanical printing. Through demonstrations, practical exercises and plenty of individual guidance, you'll discover the unique qualities of each technique while building your skills and confidence along the way.
Working from your own ideas, sketches or favourite photographs, you'll be encouraged to create original artwork and experiment with different materials, textures and printing methods. Whether you enjoy bold graphic designs or delicate, detailed images, you'll have the freedom to develop work that reflects your own interests and creative style.
By the end of the course, you'll have produced a beautiful collection of hand-printed artworks to take home, along with your own lino blocks and drypoint plates to keep. You'll be able to continue printing at home, revisit your favourite designs and keep exploring the wonderful possibilities of printmaking long after the course has finished.
