UPCOMING COURSES

This extremely enjoyable Summer course is perfect for beginners but suitable for all abilities. During the first few weeks you will focus on learning Impressionist painting techniques such as visible brush strokes, broken colour and impasto.

In the following weeks, when weather permits, we will paint "en plain air" (outside) on canvas in the traditional style in the beautiful green areas of Cambridge, such as Midsummer common or Grantchester.

By the end of the course you should have a clear understanding of how to paint in the Impressionist style and a beautiful body of Impressionist work. And, hopefully, best of all a passionate new hobby and the knowledge to keep you adding more Impressionist landscapes to your collection!
